ymc green deck shoe
A recent acquisition, ymc's green deck shoe....WITH a perforated top. The search for a low to the ground deck shoe that didn't have a sole protruding around the main body of the shoe when looked from an arial approach has proven to be a speck difficult. Passing through Gargyle's sale stock, I came across these pair of ymc that caught my eye, not by their gaudiness but rather the simplicity of the shoe. Pressing the checkout button, I eventually committed when I provided the drawn out number of my cc. Waiting for a short while with mediocre expectation tpwards the shoe, I opened the packaging/box to find a piece of butter, molded into the shape of a shoe; grabbing it, I was pleasantly shocked to find the leather of astonishing quality, with the inside being a soft, short haired suede, and the sole, imprinted with the simple ymc sh-logo, exceptionally soft and comfortable, as well. Even the back is eye catching with a different take on the typical crimped leather that accompany most deck shoes....having a round leather piece coming from the sole, it is held tight with two knotted bands of leather. The laces are, too, something to be admired...a previous cole haan pair I purchased desperately needed wear and softening before (and still needs work) it could be tied with ease....these, on the other hand, are of the same material used for the body of the shoe, and are as easy to tie as the lace from a sneaker. That all being said, I am more than enthused with my recent dip into the funds.
